I dont think if affects them at all, they have a job to do in an unbiased way.

We are always dealing with issues of oppression and Privilege in social work.  Many diverse populations live within and are more profoundly affected by oppression.  Also many social workers come from a place of privilege.  So social workers must always attend to their own privilege and the impacts of oppression.
