  1. you know that it is of better quality, but then the price is to consider.

  2. Lets talk about Brand name for a second I stay away from them i do not support Capitalisim

poor lil kids 9 years old in a sweat shop getting paid beans and they sell the shoes for 100 plus bucks Anything Brandname that is not made in Americia I don't buy

Here we get paid a decent wage for our work in other countries it is a shame what they put these kids though if you don't believe me look it all up

  3. yes

some brand names have slightly better quality...

I have not noticed this with stuff like 'bread or cereal' (wonder bread tastes alot like the walmart bread)

but some clothing (carhartt comes to mind) does seam to be better than the non brand named equivalent.

However, it does come down to more than just brand name for me...(and most people)

I think that price plays a factor as well as the specified use...

for example...I probably wouldn't show up at the gym wearing non brand named shoes but I wouldnt think twice about going to the beach in Kmart flip flops

  4. i always buy brand name clothes! they are better quality, but more expensive.

  5. I have a little more confidence in it.

  6. It does big time, for me!

Its always Brand names for me at least, howeve I occasionally shop in locals, some how manage both well.

  7. not so much

  8. I sometimes think that brand names are better because most of them were created a long time ago and needed to improve to compete with other products. Generic products created by a store chain has been making generic products for only a short time and they can't reverse research a brand name product and make one exactly like it because of the patents.

  9. Not a bit.  Oh, they are impressive but I look at price tags.

  10. Depend on the price, brand name matter a lot to some middle class and a lot to the rich, because brand name mean experience and reputation, and unknow brand name mean is new not sure if is good.

  11. You are paying more for the brand name than for the quality of the product.

  12. Brand names mean nothing to me and I wear what I like.  I certainly wont buy something just because it has a label that is upmarket.  I actually hate listening to people who feel the need to strut around stating that their handbag is prada or whatever.

  13. it really doesn't effect my decision at all.... as long as it is good and healthy i'll eat it lol

  14. TO BE HONEST, I OFTEN GO WITH BRANDNAME OVER REGULAR/AVERAGE CLOTHING. ITS JUST THE MATERIALISTIC SOCIETY THAT WE LIVE IN! I CANT HELP BUT BE INFLUENCED, HOWEVER, I DO SHOP ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE THAT I CAN!

  15. it doesnt.

  16. I tend to buy brand name when I can because it is a brand I trust and know.  Some items break or tear apart after a short time.   Some times generics/knock-offs are truly good value but you don't have any guarantees that it is quality.  Some times you end up paying more or having to go back and buy the brand name to get what you wanted and expected.
