How does the flow rate of a stream affect the quality of that water/ or show the quality of that water?

Flow rate can effect the rate of dispersal and dilution of soluble content. It can effect the degree of turbidity and the degree/size of suspended particles. It effects the degree of agitation and aeration. to produce"frothing"

I suppose the higher the flow rate the faster any remaining pollutants can be washed out of the stream.  But other than that the flow rate will have little effect on the water quality.  It might however effect the amount of sedimentation in the stream, but that may depend on the stream bed.
