  1. just an educated guess but i would say such things as amount of wind. the amount of polluting cars,factories,etc., big cities obviously have more acid rain. your environment could be trapped in by mountains that doesn't allow the pollution to escape.etc.

    a small town in the prairies with lots of wind i would think has less acid rain than a larger community in a valley with less wind.

    the acid rain could be brought in from a neighboring community as well. every spring yellow sand from the Gobi desert covers buildings and cars in japan.
