How does the government deal with stalkers?

How seriously does the government take stalkers? Is a lot being done to stop them or to help people convicted of stalking? Are there any sites that would answer this or give further information that you can point me towards?

Stalkers are scot free because the government is not arresting those who intrudes into the privacy of other people.

Nothing! Child molesters get pell grants. Know a stalker? get a restraining order, your right as a citizen and it will be enforced unlike the immigration laws. Good luck in all your endeavors

I'd say nothing, as long as the stalker isn't doing anything violent.  h**l, in most states they're not breaking any laws.  If it bothers you, you can get a restraining order.  If they have a weapon, or are committing indecent exposure, that's a different story.
