Question:

How does the injury list for the AFL fantasy teams work?

I am updating this weekends fantasy team & have been going through the clubs' injury lists.

Jeez, each week one sees RL players fronting up with stitches in their head, broken noses, black eyes etc - because they are tough & play a mans game!

By the look of the lists, in the newspapers, the AFL players have a week off if they break a fingernail; graze a knee or get sprig marks on their legs!! They even have one listed as not playing because of "soreness"......big sook!

  1. It lists how long each player will be unavailable for.

We have our own system at Collingwood. Sometimes players miss games because they get chafed by having their shorts too tight - I just love those type of shorts - that's why I never miss a training session.

  2. Ah your back with another award winning thread.

Your AFL obsession is becoming a bit worrying, I just talked to your mum and she's gona come over tonight to tuck you in and read you a bed time story.

She also said to pick up those sticky tissues in your room that she found after you were watching Collingwood vs Geelong last Friday night.

I know you like those short shorts but geez

  3. well sometimes if they get a booboo on their finger they might be out for weeks. They also take time off due to involvement in g*y parades(g*y first, then afl). A fingernail is a torn Achilles of afl. The reason most of these girls and f**s (also known as majority melbourne citizens)play afl  is because they are too scared to get hurt and requires very little talent. This was also proven by the son of a great nrl player that quit nrl to play afl(what a disgrace of a son, i feel sorry for the guy).

  4. it is because the clubs dont want to risk there players, to play a game of footy u need to be 100% and being sore is a higher chance to get injured or make it worse... so i suggest u go have a nanna nap and think about what you are talking about!!!

ok i admit asking for peoples opinions whethewr or not i could make afl when older, but i already know how to play the game and didnt ask anything about kicking a football or anything, so get ur facts correct!!! and how come i have 2 people that voted my answer good instead of bad???

who knows, i probably know more than you about the game... and i think my answer to your poor question was good!!!

  5. It works for the fantasy team the same way as it does for the real teams. They're not picked if they're injured!
