  1. It sounds like someone is doing a take home quiz.

The international community feels very strongly in support of the united nations. In general, there is a consensus that the UN is a highly important organization and is tasked with important goals such as peace, stability, and humanitarian relief. Nearly 200 countries (192) are members of the United Nations, this consists of the bulk of existing countries in the world. If all of these countries did not approve of the UN, why would they be members? Although there is a strong favor for the UN, there are groups of people within even its members who disapprove of the United Nations. In the United States, there are a number of people who believe that the US should no longer be a part of the UN because our views and goals are not well aligned with the UN. But overall, the international community as a whole has a positive feeling towards the united nations.

  2. Well... there wouldn't be an international community without the U.N. So, you pretty much answered your own question.

  3. i personally think that the united nations are not really doing their job. i mean, wars are still happening here & there.

as much as they are told & would like to do somethin, lets just face the fact. they didnt do anythin right?

it seems like the veto-powered countries look more powerful & more influential than the united nations.
