  1. Article 3 of the Military Code of Conduct instructs U.S. forces on what they are supposed to do in the event they are captured.  This is taught to every one.  Individuals in occupations that will place them in higher threat situations of being captured (i.e. SF, Recon, Seals, direct combat pilots, etc...) attend different levels of SERE training.

  2. They will put you through comparatively milder forms of physical, mental and psychological torture.

  3. They train you in escape and evasion.   The idea is NOT to stay captured but to get away as soon as you can.   The first hour or two are the most important as the enemy relies on the shock of being captured to keep you in line.   Also the further you get from the front lines,  the harder it is to get back.

They also teach you the Code of Conduct.  "I am an American fighting man...."

  4. S.E.R.E school. Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape. Check out the link below:

This should answer any questions you may have about it.

  5. Just google this...

SERE training.     Survival Escape Resistance Evasion

mainly people who go on special ops missions and pilot go to this.

they teach you how too live of the land if you were shot down or lost.

how to survive in a pow camp. how to escape capture. how to resist interrogation and all that good stuff

  6. Several people have mentioned SERE school, which is the course you would be sent on BUT just a side note that many of the details of the training are actually classified and so you won't find a full disclosure on what is involved anywhere because it compromises those who have received the training and those who will rely on the training in the future.

  7. They will teach you how to shut up and save your *** ... they are not going to let you in the battlefield without all the proper training it's up to you to pay attention
