They stay together along the day in New York, when Oliver discloses the planning of his life - his future career, successful job and then raising a family. He gives the phone number of his mother to Emily and asks her to call seven years later to check. For seven years, they occasionally meet each other, and in the end, their relationship becomes love

Well I'm not sure where you left off, but at the end Emily calls off her wedding because she's in love with Oliver. Her friend Michelle runs into Oliver at a tux shop and overhears him talking about a wedding. Emily tells Michelle that she called off the wedding and Michelle tells her that Oliver is getting married. They both search for his number while trying to get his address from the operator. Emily finally goes to see Oliver on the day of the wedding, thinking it's his she leaves. When she's out at her car, crying and trying to fumble with her key Oliver runs after her. She cries and tells him that it's too late and he kisses her. The bride and whole wedding party ran after Oliver and are standing there. He confesses that he's not getting married, but his sister is. They kiss again. The end.
