I remember it ending with Naruto leaving for a secret training with Jiraiya

in episode 220

there are a lot of susspicions that naruto will die by sasuke's hand the reason a big fight over konoha ...

     But i hope that will not happen so ...  I believe naruto can defeat sasuke and beat some mind into him

it will never ever end.

it will just keep going on and on and on with all crazy *** storylines and whole manga chapters devoted to one simple conversation between characters. and seemingly infinite battles between half dead ninjas who die but then turn out not to be dead cos they used their supersecret jutsu which they spent 15 chapters mastering, and then they go in for their master attack but it turns out the other guy has an even more awesome attack which counteracts their attack and so they just keep pulling more and more shuriken out of the arses. amd shikamaru is awesome.

Then you should say guess instead of asking how the series ends. None really knows except the creator. Erm, Tsunade might dies and go to the heaven with other sannins except Orochimaru, he'll be in h**l having fun with Michael Jackson. xD (I kid!!) If she did, Kakashi probably will be the temporary hokage until Naruto is eligible to be hokage and he will!! ...eventually >< Akatsuki will of course crumble, poor Sasori. Dx Hopefully Sasuke will stop being q***r about the revenge thing. I mean he already killed Itachi, now Konoha? Only if he don't believe so easily >< but then I don't think he'll stay in Konoha again, he'll just wandering around with his team in peace or saving innocent people in their path. Sakura'll became one of the top medical ninja in the Naruto universe. And other leaf ninjas succeed in their ways and blah blah happy end, et ceteria. ><
