  1. searay is the best bar none. they cost more but are worth it.

  2. I worked for Sea-Ray for almost 10 years and my father still works there and they make good solid boats

  3. Regal is every bit as nice as a Sea Ray.

If you want a nicer boat, you'll have to buy a Bryant or a Cobalt...but have your money ready if you look at a Cobalt.

Those are the only two that are nicer than Regal or Sea Ray.   Bryant costs about the same as an equivalent Sea Ray, and is a better-made, hand-built boat.

Sea Ray isn't even close to being the best, regardless of what some folks say.   Sea Ray's are mass-produced by Brunswick...the same people that make Bayliner, Maxum, etc.

Go to a boat show, and open the engine compartment on all the boats you like.   Compare how the wiring on a Sea Ray is done, along with all the other attention to detail....then look at a Cobalt or Bryant.    No comparison.

  4. Pacfan...  pretty much right on the mark.  Some of the new mastercrafts are nice, and if you can find an old powerplay (powerquest) model look closely at it.  I really like the quality and attention to detail.

Cobalt is head and shoulders ahead of the rest.
