How does the new russian 180/90 law affect me a student in russia?

the 180/90 day law says that for every 90 days spent in russia, 90 days much be spent outside the country. I am in the country on a student visa; how does this new law affect me?

The last I heard, the American embassy was trying to find out the answer to that very question. This is so new, I don't think anyone really knows what the answer is. However, if you can't study in Russia under this new law, it won't only affect you and others studying in Russia. It will also affect Russian students studying in the US and elsewhere.
