  1. You can play for free at Full Tilt Poker.  If you want to put money in you'll need to use a third party like netteller or epassporte or something.

Just try the freebies.  It's really fun, and you can see if you like it or not.

  2. Just be careful. There is a guy I know who is good at poker and wins sometimes on these sites. But can he get them to pay out? Have a guess.

  3. Hi there, it is certainly legal for Americans to play online poker!  Check http://dagus-statistics.com/reviews.htm for a list of poker sites accepting US residents.  You'll also find bonus codes, reviews, and a guide to depositing and withdrawing from poker sites.  PokerStars is probably the easiest bonus to clear, it gives you 100% free up to $50 on your first deposit with the code "dagus-statistics.com" and has a low minimum deposit.  Other sites like Full Tilt gives you 100% up to $600, but it takes a little longer to clear.  But check the site, you'll find a poker room that's good for you.  Hope this helps.

  4. Give this free E-book a shot, you can download it immediately. It's a no-bullshit newbie guide on how to make money online. Since it's free, you might as well try it out!

  5. hi,

i play online poker and i'm in the uk, but it should be the same set up for you in the us.

there's a couple of sites you can go to, there's partypoker.com

    blue square poker

    full tilt poker

there's a new one out called pkr.com and it's pretty good but you need an ok graphics card, on pkr you can say things to other players, call them a chicken, yawn, all kinds of things.

i always play free money tables, once you've downloaded the poker programme and installed it, open it and look for the play money tables, if you go to cashier or your account, you can reset your play money when you've lost it.

there's also free tournaments, so you have to look see what's what. with play money tables, you usually have to start off with the small blinds tables and once you've won a bit of money, you can go on bigger blinds tables.

if i was you i'd check out partypoker and pkr.

    hope this helps
