How does the pendulum oscillates in vacuum?

  1. will oscillate for a much longer time due to no air resistance as it moves.

    there will probably be a tiny resistance at the pivot point which will slow it down over time.


  2. Well a pendulam oscillates (ofcourse works ) on the principle of gravity. It is less effected by the medium in whoich it is present. In vacuum it oscillates accordinly. ie it oscillates upon the gravitational pull. If you are on moon or so itdoes same as on earth, but a bit slower because of lesser gravity. And if u consider the case on if u place it in vacuum ,it does same way as normal but a bit faster due to lack of friction due to air.
