  1. 1 Goal____________________________________... 6 points

    1 Behind/Point____________________________... 1 point

Hit the goal post (large posts) __________________= 1 point

touched while entering goals____________________= 1 point

Opposition team hits ball through defensive goals___= 1 point

hit the point post (small post)___________________= out of bounds

I Hope This Was Some Help.

  2. Just gotta kick em through the big sticks for a handy 6 points!

  3. If the ball goes through the middle posts without being touched it is called a goal which is worth 6 points. If the ball is touched or goes through the two outside goal posts or is rushed behind by the other team is is called a point which is worth 1 point.

    Hope this helps.

  4. If the ball is kicked through the two middle posts, that's a goal, and it's worth six points. If the ball goes between a goal and a behind post (the shorter, outside ones), then that is a behind, which is worth 1 point.

  5. 6 points for a goal 1 point for a behind also 1 point for a rushed behind

  6. A GOAL (through the two middle poles): 6 points

A BEHIND (through the outer pole and one of the inner poles): 1 point

BALL TOUCHED ON WAY THROUGH (through any sets of poles: 1 point

HITS ONE OF INNER POSTS: 1 point

HITS ONE OF OUTER POSTS: 0 points

  7. If a player kicks it through the 2 middle sticks it is 6 points, but in between the 2 outer posts it is 1 point. If the ball by chance hits one of the posts it is 1 point. If the opposition handballs or rushes it through the other teams goals it is signalled a rushed behind, therefore 1 point is scored. Hope this was help to you.

  8. LADDER POSITIONING:

If you win you get 4 points, If you lose you get 0, If you have a draw then you get 2 points.

If you have 48 or more points at the end of the year your guaranteed in the finals.

If you are in the top 4 positions overall then if your team looses the qualifying finals then they have a 2nd chance draw. If they are in the top 4 and they win the qualifying finals then they go to the pemiliary finals which is one away from the grand finals.

  9. Well,

Every point theres 1 point for your team, but every goal you get six points. If the ball is touched when entering the goals, its a point. Im not good at answering questions lol

  10. Well, the point system is made by 1 or 6 points. There are four poles in the scoring square. Two tall in the middle, and two slightly shorter on the two sides. If the ball lands in the middle of the two tall middle poles, the team that kicked the ball gets 6 points. If the ball is is kicked on either side, in between a tall and a short, the opposition receives 1 point.

    Hope that helps you :)

  11. I'm a junior goal umpire with AFL dreams, so here we go...

At either end of the oval, we have a set of four white poles, making their own statement on the ground. Lets focus on one set of these poles.

The set is comprised of two taller poles (goal posts), next to each other, 6.4m apart. Flanking these two poles are smaller poles (behind posts), once again 6.4m away from the goal post beside them.

A goal is worth six points and can only be scored by cleanly kicking the football off the boot between the two goal posts. This can be kicked traditionally (directed from the hands onto the boot), or off the ground. This kick cannot be touched by another player, no matter which team he is on, from the moment the ball leaves the attacking players boot, to the point where it crosses the line in between the goal posts.

    A behind is worth only one point and can be scored in four different ways;

    1) If the ball is kicked (cleanly or not) between a goal post and a behind post

    2) If the ball is carried between the goal posts by any player

    3) If the ball was touched by another player before passing through the goal posts

    4) If the ball hits or makes contact with any part of the goal post itself. If the ball makes contact with any part of the behind post, the ball is deemed out of bounds, and will result in a throw-in.

    I hope this helps you
