How does the points sytem work for the rugby union?

5 points  for scoring a try

2 points for the sucessfull convertion of the try

3 points for a sucessfull penalty goal

3 points for a sucessfull field goal/drop goal

coco was right in regards to overall points scoring per game,

5 for a try

2 for a conversion and

3 for a drop goal or penalty kick

but if you're looking for total league standings it is the following:

4 points for a win,

2 points for a tie,

1 bonus point for scoring 4 trys or more, and in some unions

1 bonus point for losing by less than a try
