How does the pregnancy test from the dollar store work?? are they any good?

How someone ever use it and got a postive result and then it was true that u r pregnant?

i found out that it only detected the hcg the day before i could check and it was a very faint line. then the next day it was darker. i also followed up with the digital and it said pregnant on it. unfortunately we lost that one. good luck to ya!

I have used the dollar tree pregnancy tests many times when I was trying to get pregnant with my daughter. They were accurate every time. When I was finally pregnant I wasn't very far along and it only had a very faint line. But any line is a positive (if it is where it is supposed to be for positive). I also used them when I got pregnant with my son a couple years ago. They work just as good as the expensive kind.

i used the dollar store brand 3 days after AF was due and i got  my first BFP!...that same morning i went for my blood test to confirm it and after 2 hrs. i got the result it was confirmed...dollar store brand detects as low as 25mIU/hcg  in ur urine...unlike some of the branded ones w/c detects at least 50mIU...after a few days igot my BFP from the dollar store brand, i have 1 first response left and 2 digital clearblue preg test left in my drawer and use them both says POSITIVE ( i just do it for fun)

They worked for me. I was testing quite often so being only $1 was a plus.

for most pregnancy tests you pee on the strip, and a symbol on teh screen with either tell you whether you're pregnant or not. they've all been manufactured at a company, and just so happened to end up in the dollar store. i've never tried one, but sure, i assume they'll work.
