How does the "Call to Glory" card from Magic the Gathering work?

The card says "Untap all creatures you control. Samurai's you control get +1/+1 until the end of turn." Does this mean that you are able to attack again in the "second main phase" and if so how does that work?(Still learning lol) Thanks!

  1. No, you can never attack after the second main phase unless a card specifies that you can. (Such as: Aggravated Assault, Relentless Assault Savage Beating, Godo Bandit Warlord) Usually they will say something like, "after this phase, there is an additional combat phase followed by an additional main phase." So, it is similar to reverting to the first main phase. It is the same turn, so summoning sickness does not go away, etc.

"Call to Glory" can be used with "Godo, Bandit Warlord." Godo triggers another combat phase when he attacks the first time each turn. He only untaps himself and other samurai, so if you have non-Samurai creatures that you want to have attack again, you can play Call to Glory after your attacking creatures tap. It also boosts the Samurai.

Since Call to Glory is an instant, you can also use it on your opponent's declare attackers step. This will allow you to untap your samurai, give them +1/+1 and block when he doesn't expect it

  2. no they cant attack twice heres why.

    they dont have double strike.

wich allows them to strike twice duh.

but the cards with vigilance dont tap when they attack but they can still only attack once.

so no they can only attack once regardless if theyve been un tapped.

  4. basically, there's only one combat phase per turn. so you cant tap your creatures to attack again. the second main phase has not combat phase! however, there are spells which allow you to have a second combat phase, this will allow you to attack again.

refer to the rulebook if you're not clear!

    hope this helps!  :)
