How does the repremand rule work in AFL?

like i know if its 100 points you get suspended but like some people get 95.75 points??!!!? where do they pull that number from??

    But yeah I agree with ya, I'm sure some days they just pick a number from their butt and say,"yeah that sound reasonable.."

  4. In 2005, the AFL overhauled its disciplinary system by introducing a Match Review Panel that reviews and grades all reportable incidents each week. Offences are ranked against a set of criteria, then assigned a point value. This is then adjusted up or down according to the players previous record, and reduced a further 25% should a player plead guilty. Every 100 points will see the player in question suspended for one match. Players are able to contest either the grading of the offence against the criteria or they can plead not guilty to the entire offence. The tribunal adjudicates on these cases.
