  1. because Volcanoes emit 65% of all CO2

and thats whats harming the envirement

  2. They also emit H2S which reacts with Oxygen in the atmosphere to create SO2 which then mixes with water vapor in the air, eventually precipitating down as H2SO4, making rain water more acidic.

  3. Volcanos put our a MASSIVE amount CO2 and other green house gases.  The eruption of Mt. Pinitubo ejected more CO2 than all the cars ever build combined.

  4. well for one thing all the ash form the volcano's can cause a dimming of our sun and that can Bering on an other ice age

and volcano's can cause mud slides which not only dis troy the environment but homes as well and Meany types of plant life and animal life will die

  5. The ring of fire (or rim of fire) is an area in the western Pacific with several active volcanoes caused by shifting tectonic plates under the earth's surface.

Whenever these volcanoes erupt they spew debris in the form of smoke and ash into the atmosphere that eventually spreads around the world.

The smoke and debris reduces the amount of sunlight that gets to the earths surface and this cools the earth.  This cooling affects oceanic currents and tides as well as the local weather over land areas.

Additionally, the ash affects the health of individuals living in areas where the ash settles causing breathing ailments among the inhabitants.

In the immediate areas of the volcano the ash settlement may be thick enough as to prevent vegetation from growing.  In the Philippines the residue of ash was sufficient that they are still suffering from lahar runoff whenever it rains to the point that houses and roads are destroyed or covered up again by the lahar (mud caused by ash mixing with the water from the rainfall).  Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines erupted in 1991 and still causes serious environmental problems for that area of the world.

  6. are you referring to the circle of active volcanoes?

they release tons of CO2 and rock particles into the atmosphere.

if it's an explosive eruption, then often there will be a global cooling period from all of the ash in the sky, literally blocking the sun's heat from the earth, and this can be bad.

of course, hot lava and ash kill things, too. there are tons of earth quakes

however, there are also good aspects.

for example, volcanic ash nourishes the soil really well, so any vegetation destroyed can grow back rather quickly, and it will be very rich. nice place to live.
