if someone has two strikes against them for violent crimes and then commits a hit and run resulting in death,without gross neglegance ,will new charge count as third strike???

  1. 2 + 1 = 3    If it's a hit and run resulting in death, how can that not be gross negligence??  He RAN from the scene, making it a felony (I believe, since the person died) which means he's eligible for the 3rd strike rule, in my opinion.  Obviously this person has no conscience or concept of right and wrong - he deserves to be locked up for good.


  2. It will probably be tried as manslaughter or involuntary manslaughter and then it will be up to the judge to adjudicate if it falls under the three strike rule...if you are found guilty.
