Weather can affect plants in many ways. One way could be temperature. Most plants only bloom in warm weather and when it's cold for a long period of time most plants die. Also precipitation. When there's a lot of rain, the plants will grow more because they're getting a lot of water. But when a seed is just planted it too much rain actually hurts the plant. But when there's no rain a plant will have trouble growing. Also, cloud cover. Plants get food from the sun. When there's not enough sunlight they won't be getting enough nutrients to grow but when there's enough they'll grow.
