How does the xbox live market place work??

i have the silver membership thing or whatever and every thing so i buy the points than after that i can download movies or games on the xbox and also i don't have to pay anything else but only buy the points or what someone tell me??

You can buy many things off the xbox live marketplace. Such as Games demos ( all free) , arcade games/mini games (cost usally 300-800 microsoft points ) , dashboard themes (backround for your dasboard)  and other things like that .

     If your wondering what "microsoft points" are , they are what you buy everything with . your can buy 500 with costs about 8 dollars and it goes up to 1600 .

Most of the things on xbox live marketplace you need microsoft points for. But game demos and some gamer pictures and themes are free. When it comes to movies and stuff u need microsoft points. I also recomend getting a gold membership so you can enjoy the full experience.
