  1. FWS is where they give you a maximum amount of money you can make while working throughout the semester. For example if your amount is $600 you can't make more than that for the whole semester. You can work on or off campus.

    If you have a full or part-time job originally, that doesn't count as FWS, it's only for the jobs that the school place you at.


  2. When this shows up on your award letter, it doesn' t go toward your tuition. It is an on-campus job that you can get and work to earn up to that amount per semester/quarter. If you want to get this then you need to talk to the student job center, if you don't then you do not need to do anything about it.

  3. It is the opportunity to earn that much money per year at your school.  It is just like a regular job where you get paid every other week or sometimes monthly.  It is not normally money that goes towards tuition because you have to earn it as you go.
