How does this amplifier sound?

I have a pair of 12" MTX 7500's and they have been tested and can handle up to 650w RMS each. I've delt with 4 brands to push these, and all have failed. Kenwood, Crunch, Lanzar, Pioneer. The amp I'm looking at now is a Hifonics BXi2008D. It pumps 1300w RMS x 1, and I've heard mixed reviews about it. Hifonics works mainly with amps, just like MB quart and Crunch. It would be turned to 4/5 it's power, so no overheating will occur with the amp.

Also, my crunch amplifier red light is on. It was on before, then turned green, and I played it for an hour and it turned red again. I left it alone for a day, and it's still red. What can be wrong? wires hooked right, fuses are good.

  1. If I was you, I would look online and buy a zx1500 amp, and like the other guy said check the ground wire for the other amp.

    Hope I helped.

  2. Check you ground wire.

HI-Fonics, Crunch, and MB Quart are made by the same manufacturer.
