  1. These are desinged to mainly be used with a western saddle with tie strings, but it should work just fine with the english saddle.

Tack your horse up as normal, and then place the saddle bag behind it.   Slide the saddle bag forward between the saddle pad and the saddle so that the middle section of the bag is slightly up under your cantle.  Then you can use the nylon straps that are clipped to the saddle bag to atatch the bag to your saddle using the billets under the flap.  Simply slip the nylon strap through the billets just like you do the strap on your saddle pad to secure it.

Hope this helps, and happy trails!!!

  2. it would attach to D's in the BACK of the saddle, though many adult saddles don't have these (though children's saddles do for a crupper )

you can have a saddler add them.. or try something different, like this

  3. You attach it to the back of a western saddle. I don't know about english.

  4. Since you dont have D's on both sides of the back - take it to a tack shop and have them put some in... (saddle guy) They are cheap and easy to do -

If you can't do that I guess putting it in the front would be your only other option -

  5. The ad says it fits english OR western, so I'm thinking on the back.

  6. Hmmm...I have no idea how that would fit without clips for the d rings to the puch o.O

  7. I'm afraid that is made to tie onto the back of a western saddle.
