Question:

How does this diet sound for me?

I am 18 years old, 5' 2" at 176 lbs right now. so how does this sound?

Breakfast: Slim fast shake 220 cal

snack: 1/2 cup grapes & 6 cherry tomatoes 70 cal

Lunch: slim fast bar 220 cal

snack 1/2c raspberries 1 cup celery 47 cals

dinner: small portion to equal 1200 calories.

moderate exersize 4-5 times a week..

let me know how that osunds or if you have any other suggestions?

  1. pretty good!! to double check ask your doctor!! always good to get help from proffesionals!! :)


  2. Ask a doctor... You should consult him/her before you do anything to radically change your eating or exercise habits. It doesn't sound very safe to me.  

  3. um, that depends on you, personally the shake, 2 snacks and bar wouldnt be enough to keep me satisfied, and id end up pigging out during dinner..slim fast stuff is full of sugar and fat so id totally take it out. try regular oatmeal(1/2c. is 150cal) whole grains like this are high in fiber and keep you full. low fat dairy (milk, yogurt, cottage cheese) they have protein in them. lean meats like turkey breast and chicken breast. fruits and veggies....just avoid sugary things and junk/fast food.  

  4. You should never start a restricted calorie diet without consulting your physician or a dietician.  Preferably your Doctor, so he/she can check you out for any hidden health problems that you might have that would cause a diet to do harm to your health.
