Trial of Sight

Part Fourteen

“The Shift is tonight, my sweet”

Cara’s Grandmother says,

her hand laid gently on her head

“And they will seek you out!”

As the memories of wolves invades

Cara screams and starts to shake

Her mission of vengeance hindered

by the damned black world

thrown upon her by misguided bullet

Her hate for he who ripped life away

smoldered in her weakened veins

Blind or not, she would kill him

As her father had once tried to do

-I do not want to give anything away but I do ask that you pay attention to the smaller things… such as the “familiar cloak” her last name, “Crimson” and the Wolf… do you get the hint?

  1. Shift: The act of moving from one place to another; a qualitative change; A LOOSE GARMENT THAT HANGS FROM THE SHOULDERS WITHOUT A WAIST.

    You sly devil you.

  2. Oh, it must be Little Red Riding Hood!  Or perhaps the daughter thereof? Her vengeance will be wreaked upon the Wolf, with the silver blade given to her by her father?  There are still unanswered questions and mystery in this tale.  I am even more intrigued than ever now.  Thank you.

  3. So the father was killed by the wolf who raped Little Carolina Crimson...interesting plot twist, would make a great story. I also like the idea that she is sought out by the wolves. What has she done that has made her blood so lusted after by them. How long has she eluded and killed them? How long will she last in her blindness.
