How does this gas saver chip work and will it actually work?

They do work, they normally go in the ECM depending on the modle of your car and it works like a little brain telling the engine that it needs few cylinders (your 8 cylinder may become a 6 cylinder). Also if you put a cold air intake and dual exaust on you vehicle this will help you improve you gas mileage.

I have an 04 silverado and I did the cold air intake and dual exaust and went from 16/19 to 19/23-25

#1 - the claims are way bloated

#2 - it saves gas by running your engine lean.  Lean is a good way to destroy your engine from the inside out.

thats the biggest lie iver seen in awhile..sorry bro but for that price i gaurentee its not what it seems...its not just the price..ive used chips before and it really ll deopends on what you put it in,engine size,purpose of chip...now if you get this chip expect roughly 1/3rd to half of what say it ill give you...

dont do it! looks like a piggy back chip.. my friend bought one like that for his car and it showed little gains and kept his engine running lean which does use less gas but hurts your pistons and valves.
