    mammals: lungs

    Fish: gills, exept lung fish which has both ,although their lungs are not develped for long term just short term breathing while they find another pool of water ect.



    Reptiles: lungs

    Amphibians: lungs and skin, some cases gills or both, in life cycles

    birds: lungs

    insects, spiracles,

    arachnida, book lungs

    other invertabra: like jelly fish ect, the less evolved animals that is with more primitive designs: chemical gradients, ie diffussion through water/ air.

    microbes: diffusion
