I havent gotten a client in 3 months. Im not originally a telemarket. I got this job for experience or as first job. My degree out of college is networking. I got this job from a friend who said its better than nothing in today's economy.

Anyway, this is how I would go :

Me : Hello, my name is Genesis ( using a real name offline ) , I represent ( my company ), how are you today?

Them : Ok, thanks

Me : I build websites or add e-Commerce functions to websites including inventory management, shipping and even adding quickbooks to your site. I would love to ask if you are interested? I noticed that you sell handbags and our company is specialized with making your site very nice . We have done over 20 similar sites with handbags. Would you like to see a free demo?

Them : No thanks we have someone who does our site, thank you anyway, ( hang up ).

What else should I say if they have someone, just end the call with , ok no problem, thank you and goodbye?

  1. When you say "I would love to ask if you are interested?" It sounds a bit like your trying too hard. Instead say, "I'm curiouse if this intrests you?" if they say we already have someone else then say, "Do they have _________ ?"

____= a name of something you and your company have accomplished (like an waward) or something you do well. Good Luck! :)
