How does this system works...please read me!?

do the children and families and state attorney work together for child neglect, to determine to procecute? or are they both on thing. and if they are together, do they both go over the report together? how does this work when it involves child neglect.

Child protection services will conduct an investigation. That report will be forwarded to the District Attorney's office for evaluation. If the DA finds that criminal charges are warrented, they will pursue that end of it.

Follow up calls to the DA's office will tell you if the case was found to be unwarrented ( no charges filed).
