Question:

How does this wedge set sound?

i have a gap wedge and a 54 cleveland cg12 and a 60 volkey milled and my local cours has bunkers and will the 54 make that much of a diffrence on short bunker shots

  1. just get the 54 bent to 56 and it will open the face and will make sand sots easy as pie.


  2. it all depends on the sand texture, if the sand is hard packed , avoid the 54 , very low bounce . bladed shots easily done . the lob is much more versitile from both hard and fluffy sand . plus for sand use it is best to use just one wedge , easier to accustom your self to using . thank you

  3. I recommend carrying a 52 degree, a 56 degree sand wedge and a 60 degree.  Play the sand wedge for all sand shots within 30 yards of the green.  Distance can be changed based on how much you open the face. Cleveland and Volkey are great wedges.

  4. heres a thought  go get a 64 degree lob wedge and use it all the time and u will get used of it and u will find u can use around the greens to very easy just  practice w it and u will enjoy getting out of the sand  try and see what u think   good golfing   and all the sand blasts u have
