  1. "being Erudite in skill and experience, i believe this will open doors to great and exciting careers."

you are correct in using erudition but to me it sounds a little better if you use the word as a noun.hope it helps!-blurey

  2. Well, it sound a little weird to me...

I must specify that English is not my mother tongue...

"erudition" is much more a synonym for scholarship, to me... And using it in this sentence sounds like you are bragging, it seems a little boastful.

But it's just my humble opinion... Using formal words is a good thing when well employed in a sentence, otherwise you are better off using simple words that go straight to your point...

  3. Not sure, but shouldn't it read "With THE knowledge and experience I gain..." ?

  4. It's not appropriate if you're using it in a cover letter to accompany a resume. If that's the case, substitute "education".

If you're just using the sentence as an example of the word in a sentence, it's fine.

In either case, you need to insert the word "the" after "and" and before "experience", so that it reads "With my knowledge and the experience I gain ..."

  5. I think I would change it to:

While utilizing my erudition, experience and skills that I obtain, doors will open to great and exciting careers .

Is the word use of erudition a requirement?
