I saw an answer to another question that said using an unmanaged switch instead of a router to connect to xbox live how does the unmanged switch affect the internet on my comp. while i on xbox live.

No home router or switch has the capabilities of a true industrial managed switch. Why? Because managed switches start at around $600 and go UP!!!!! from there
