How does walmart load a delivery truck?

How does the warehouse load the single boxes into the truck? I work at walmart and have to unload these trucks we get and htey fit like 1000 to 2000ish single pieces in each truck on top of a few palletized things. Always wonder how they get the single items in :)

i used to work in the dc, shipping.   we just put them in one by one.  there is a conveyor belt that we can pull all the way into the trailer.   i worked there for 1 1/2 years so i prolly loaded over 100,000 boxes in that time.

It may be walked in to the trailer from the warehouse, on a conveyor belt from an assembly line, or if it is a large item it is brought in by a forklift or pallet jack.

I worked there back in '93. Trailers are loaded in layers - the furthest store load goes in first.
