How does water leave the earth??

how dose water leave the earth if it goes around on an continues cycle the water get evaporated and then rains down to the ground again so how can we be short on water in none seams to leave the earth??

  1. It doesn't. The earth is a closed biosphere. The issue is where the water is and whether it's suitable for human use (consumption, agriculture, etc.).

    The earth's climate is rapidly changing due to the effects of global warming. This is shifting weather patterns dramatically. Population centers throughout history have been built based on easy access to water. When the water moves, the people have to move too. As an example, look at the Anasazi Indian tribe from the American Southwest. They lived by farming around area rivers. A climate change dried up the area and they were forced out leaving the stone cliff dwellings behind.
