  1. Oxygen dissolved in water will be lost on heating.

  2. As mentioned water will lose disolved oxygen content upon heating.  In addition disolved oxygen is also reduced by COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) & BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand)

    BOD is living organisms like fish or bacteria using the available oxygen.

    COD is a chemical reaction using oxygen. Rusting is a classic example but there are other chemicals like sulfite which act as an oxygen scavenger and bond with any available oxygen.
