  1. Weathering and erosion will constantly recharge minerals and nutrients that are in the rocks.  For example, if limestone is being eroded then it is likely that the soil will have high calcium levels which will in turn resist the pH changes during acid rain.  this is very important for the organisms that live in the soil.  Also weathering and erosion will constantly keep soil material coming in and recharging the amount of material as well..

  2. Strictly soil is the product of weathering and errosion and not the reverse.

If these effects continue to be applied on the soil, then it gets swept away to some other place, but it is still the same in itself.

  3. It can affect soil in many ways.  If it has erosion, that means it doesn't get enough liquids, water, or minerals to generate life (on a substancial level).  If  it is just weathering, like in coldness, it kills off any germs or mites for the following season of harvest.  Just remember, if it's sandy or cloggy, etc, in an area of soil, it's degenerated soil.  If it's moist, smooth, non-cloggy, or is not grainy, it is generated soil, and can process/harvest good plants, etc.
