the adspace they sell. Think about it everywhaer you turn from games to music there is an advertisement unless you pay for yahoo radio( i do as much as i use it, it is worth it) to any other service..allfunded by ad space..

The more services they provide, the more people come to the site, and the more people that visit the site, the more advertisers are willing to pay to advertise on here because Yahoo! has such a huge audience.
