How does your company do back ups?

Question

I'm an IT student and for a class I need to find out how some businesses do their backups for their systems. So if its not too confidential and you're a part of your company's IT department... How do you backup your system and what OS do you use?

On and off site HDDs.

I use linux to tarball important folders on our windows 2003 server.

dont back up anything on the workstations.

every week i burn backups to CD (manual processs)

Also on the server, i have a scheduled task that runs rar.exe to backup the same folders onto another hard disk on the server (not on the raid, this HD is standalone and just is used as backup).
