How does your family save money?

In general what do you do to cut cost on anything

To save money:

* eat at home more often

* vacationing near home, or where the USD goes far in value

* car pool

* always follow the shopping list; shop only once a week by-the-list (not by traveling inside the store)

* use one car instead of 3 whenever possible

* do a draw down budget: say budgeted $1,000 a month; then after the 1st. shopping trip of $120, then see it clearly that only $880 left to spent for the next 3+ weeks.
