How does youtube work on an i-touch?

i have not gotten my i touch yet but i would like to know how youtube works on the i touch i have played around with the i phone watching videos on that but that was in the apple store so do i always have to be around a router for it to work orwhat please answer thanks

yeah in order to watch the videos u have to have internet on the iPod so u have to be close to a router to get internet and watch videos

yes u have to be close to a wireless router

the only way u can download videos is if you jailbrak it or you get the videos from your computer
