  4. "the computer" is used for a wide range of administrative purposes. There is hardly a task in the modern world of governance that can't use some help from the technology.

    The Jamaican Government is in the process of moving towards having ALL major services being IT driven in one way or the other. They are also tackling the additional task of making all the various government IT systems interface so that information can be shared efficiently.
