How dominant was USA swimming in the 400M medley? ?

I know we broke under the 7:00 mark, but what was the next closest country...and what was the last country's to finish time? I remember the cameraman had to zoom back n forth between team USA and the rest of the field to capture it on the TV.

IIRC, it was about 5 seconds slower, close to the old world Record time

You got your relays mixed up.  They swam the 800 Freestyle relay tonight with a clocking of 6:58 (although with the talent the US has, we could have swam it as a Medley relay and still beat everyone).
