They skipped on the obvious pick, Carmelo because they already had Prince, they wanted a big man,so they took Darko.

How good would they be if they took Bosh?

Would they of won any championships? if so how many?

For the first couple of years, he would of been coming off of the bench, considering Ben Wallace, was still a Piston.

The current starting lineup would look something like this.

PG - Chauncy Billups

SG - Richard Hamilton

SF - Tayshaun Prince

PF - Chris Bosh

C - Rasheed Wallace

  1. they would be pretty impressive but i still think they would of lost to the spurs in 05 and and i dont think they would have another championsip to their amazing resume of success but they would definitely be a slight better mycdyess and prince do alot

  2. i agree with the first answer. they would have been dynasty! with him backing up sheed and ben back then, they might have won 3 in a row. they lost to the spurs in the game 7 of 05 finals cause sheed, ben, and dyes were foul troubled at that time. so to cope up with the need, coach larry brown shifted prince into the 4 spot and was forced to guard duncan, which sparked the rally for the spurs in that game. had bosh been drafted by the pistons, he would have been a better option as a defender for duncan at that time. also, the pistons could have had the most solid big man line up the year webber decided to put up a pistons uniform. sheed and webber at the starting line up. then dyes and bosh off the bench. and they still have maxiell in case of injuries and foul troubles. man!

just looking at the starting five makes this team way stronger than their actual line up, if he is with the pistons!. and with dyes and maxiell coming off the bench for this team, d**n! skies the limit for this team! they wouldn't be needing to acquire kwame brown, that's for sure!

  3. Very very good. In fact they may have repeated or maybe threepeated with Bosh. For most opponents it would pretty much be "pick your poison"

  4. you cant see these things.. you dont know how players from the draft turn out...

    remember sam bowie over jordan

  5. Beating a dead horse :[

  6. they would have won a lot more championships,, but i doubt bosh would be where he is now,, becuase back then the pistons don't really play their rookies,,so i dont thnk bosh wouldve been the superstar that he is now,, he would be just be another role player

  7. real dominant, but I don't think they could've kept up with the salaries if they had gotten him.

he's a franchise player, so around $10 million.

  8. Idiots, they could've been a dynasty. Who is Darko?

  9. they would have been great, they could have gotten at least one more championship, that stupid decision will haunt the pistons for many years to come

  10. d**n Good team, they would have one at least one more. Bosh wouldn't have contributed as much because of all the great players on the team.

  11. That's an if and in the sports world there has been a lot of if's

But they would of been great

  12. They went to back to back Finals when Ben Wallace was blocking and rebounding. Now swap b. Wallace for Bosh and you have at least 2 rings and 3 Finals apperances maybe more. And thats just to date Bosh and the other four guns could have ran all over the league for years to come because of their age. If only you could turn back time.

  13. they could be unstoppable in the east

  14. I think Bosh would have struggled, since he wouldn't have been the main focus on offense like he is in Toronto. He would have been blocked by Big Ben and Sheed just like Darko was. That alone would have hindered his development.
