Sad thing is, he probably cares more about his booze than his profession. He and Bodie Miller, the notorious pro skier, are birds of the same feather; they only appear interested in getting whatever they can out of their sports as long as it doesn't interfere with their partying.

You knows whats really sad, I saw Daly a few weeks ago at the Chicago Golf Show, he was the guest of honor.  He was on stage going through different parts of his game, address, pre-shot rountine, practice regimes, and he knows the game well and was full of good advice, it is just such a shame that he drinks so much, and to see him in person, you can tell.  But his whole lecture was actually more informative than I thought it would be, he has the know how to be a professional level golfer, he just needs to drop the booze!

Who cares. I'm so over John Daly's actions. He doens't even deserve a start in any tour event except the British Open. He hasn't made top 125 money in 3 years.

How drunk is Daly??? Doesn't matter he is drunk, or  got wrong information about tee time, or any other exuceses.  The point is, he is not dicipline... and he deserved to got dq.

As a pro he missed tee time!!!!  This is a good example for the kids... whoever you are, if you not dicipline you will get disqulified.

As drunk as he was going to be. He drinks regardless of the time of the day or what he does.

It's a shame to watch. You'd think the time would come where he'd decide to get some help. What a great talent too.

Man, I just hate to witness this continued decline, growing faster and faster as Daly screws up both his career, his health and his life.

Butch Harmon finally has aired what others have thought for a long time - Daly is an alcoholic and unless he commits to change, he ain't gonna change.

It's a d**n shame because everyone likes Daly, including me, but it's embarrassing to see him doing this to himself.  Those sponsor exemptions he's been playing on will be drying up long before he has.

He's a sad case.  He's got all of the tools except the fact that he's a head case, probably caused by alcholism.  If he could get that under control, watch out Tiger!
