  1. lf you mean driveways made with ''pavers'',( the ones the size and thickness of red bricks ), very durable. Don't drive a concrete truck on it. Do the site prep as required. They will tell you at the place you buy them. Shop around, My neighbor did and saved about 1/3 by checking with companies just outside of town.

  2. The finish to your driveway is as important as to what is underneath it, the foundation determines how much traffic the driveway can take. Put in a good foundation and it does not matter how you finish the top.

  3. it all depends on how well it was laid in the first place

  4. Crazy paving is OK for patio's and paths. But I wouldn't recommend it if cars have to be parked/driven on it. Even for a patio extensive work is requiered. levelling of ground. laing and tamping down 3-4 ins of sand. then brushing in a 3-1 mixture sand concrete over the surface, without treading on slabs till dry. It's all in the preperation.

  5. Remember, 'crazy' paving is made of broken paving slabs - so if they break, then they're just going to get 'crazier'.

It's the grouting that goes. You can replace it by brushing in a dry motar mix - ( 1 part cement and 3 parts sand )

  6. as long as you have a good base and the right mix of concrete it will be very durable.
