as early as possible but to be honest i'd have to say frequent flyers more often then not spoil the fun by having the ability to snatch these seats up before they are released to the general public.

if i was in your shoes i would call the airline directly and ask to be seated in the emergency rows - sometimes you find a friendly agent who will do it for you.

tell them its a special occasion or that you are 7' tall!
