I have a few prescriptions I need to have refilled but I don't know when it's too early to drop them off. Is three days too early? Does it depend on the medication?

  1. I always get the meds as soon as prescribed. Unless I have them already. As for "Top-ups" - that is only when required.

  2. you can drop of a prescription as soon a syou get it...actually the sooner you drop it off the sooner it will be ready...so like for instance walgreens down my street i drop it off and in a few hours its ready...if i were to wait three days it would be ready in three days and a few hours.

  3. I usually call my refills in the night before I want to pick them up, or even sometimes in the same morning I need them.  I don't think there's any 'too early' times for refills.  I usually never let my prescriptions sit at the pharmacy longer than a day or two.  I never know how long they'll hold them, and I don't want to risk possibly losing that refill.  You could always ask your pharmacy what they prefer.  I'm sure they'd be more than happy to tell you.
